Is your hair frizzy? Are you looking for a way to add moisture to your ultra-dry locks? Then keep reading to see what you ought to know about Karite Nutri Intense Nourishing Mask, AKA – the best hair mask for frizzy hair.
Karite Nutri Nourishing Hair Mask
Rene Furterer was working as a stylist in his wife’s Parisian salon in the 1950’s. At that time styles made popular by actress Maryilyn Monroe were popular. However, those styles were very harsh on hair.
His solution – a nourishing mask to revitalize and repair the most damaged hair. In fact, this might be one of the best hair masks for dry hair.
What you need to know about Rene Furterer products
Rene Furterer’s, a hairdresser, was influenced by his grandmother in Provence, France. She had a love of botany that was passed on to Furterer. He realized that as plants are nourished at their roots, healthy hair begins at the scalp.
He then developed scalp treatments and massage to change the world of hair care.
Rene Furterer products were the first to create plant-based hair products. They use rare and precious essential oils. Then transformed these quintessences of plants into an “ultimate nectar” to enhance their therapeutic powers. Shop his best selling hair products here.

Karite Nutri Intense Nourishing Mask Review
What I think is so great about the Rene Furterer hair mask…
Everything! Haha.
Do not be surprised by its yellow color. I believe that hue comes from the wheat proteins. Which I actually really like.
The Karité Furterer hair mask is so creamy. It makes my hair feel so soft. I now understand why people refer to this mask as “luxurious”.
I also noticed that my hair did not have as much static build-up from the dry air where I live. Nor did it leave a keratin build-up, which I worried about since this is a heavy product.
Although I did not apply it to my scalp, product always seems to move. And I did not have any sort of negative reaction to it.
My hair is so much more flexible and manageable. I am able to brush through it without painful knots. Which is so incredible.
How to use:
After you are done shampooing (Rene Furterer shampoo makes a great option) and drying your hair. Then smooth small amounts of the mask to your hair. Start at the mid-shaft and work through to the ends. Make sure to work in sections.
Leave the mask on for 2-5 minutes. After that use a wide-tooth comb to untangle your hair. Finish by rinsing thoroughly with warm water.
You can use this treatment 2 times a week!

How does Karite Nutri compare to others like it?
I do find the price much higher than other hair masks. However, it is worth the extra money.
It put life back into my severely dry, hard to manage hair. Most hair masks I have used will add moisture. But not in the same way Karite Nutri does.
I feel like I do not need to add extra forms of nutrients. No more need for extra conditioner, or hydrating sprays. I am able to wash, condition, and do this treatment to achieve the silky hair I have desired for so long.
However, if you have thin, fine, or thinning hair – this is not the product for you. It definitely will weigh your hair down.
But if your hair is long, thick, curly, coarse, and dry as a bone – I would definitely purchase this product. I know I will again.
Where to purchase:
I love purchasing haircare products from Dermstore. They were created in 1999 by Craig A. Kraffert, a Dermatologist. Kraffert wanted his patient to have a place to more easily purchase the skincare he recommended.
And obviously it is no longer solely based on skin. They also carry haircare, a ton of all natural products, difficult to find products, and makeup.
