For every missed opportunity, there will be another one.
When I got sick I reached a point where I was not able to work or take college classes. After a few years bedridden I had a “good” week, thought I was getting better and decided it was time to start my blog so I could document all the travels I would soon be doing.
Well, 2 more years went by and I still had not left my home.
For 2 years I blogged about places I couldn’t go.
40 blog posts, millions of visitors to my website (somehow), and I still couldn’t walk across the street.
Things are different now! I spent last year traveling to 6 continents and 22 countries, finally getting to lots of the destinations I wrote about while sick in bed (and more!). I didn’t have too much trip planning to do because I basically planned every trip through my blog.
If you can’t do what you want to right now, or feel you have missed more opportunities than you could ever make up for, I promise you, you have not.
There will be another opportunity.
Keep going. Don’t lose hope. And try not to get discouraged as life passes you by. Your time will come.
